Under Fire introduces the story of the 416th Bomb Group (L) from activation and training in the United States, to Combat Operations in the European theater of operations during World War II. Based first at Wethersfield, in England, and then in France, the men of the 416th took the war to German occupied Europe. This video, created and produced by Dr. Vernon Williams of the East Anglia Air War Project is a touching memorial to those who served.
